It has been some time since I’ve laid in bed and stared at the ceiling fan

To hear the rain and listen…
To have an arm bent under my head and the other rested on my stomach
To look at my toes and marvel at how I still have ten

It has been some time since I’ve laid in bed and stared at the ceiling fan.

About Karima

A Holistic Healer. I’m not yet too entirely sure of what that entails, but I know it’s my calling. I mostly write poetry out of observation, not inspiration; for I find the two to be different. I was likely a hip-hop producer in my previous life & it’s mad easy for me to get digital high off a good beat. I meddle my coffee addiction with lots of sleep and people watching. I’m also a walking contradiction– constantly seeking ways to be a blend of all my different personas, but that never quite works & so I consequently have a very fluid sense of style & ever-changing persuits.
