Summer Somber

by Karima OsmanMay 27, 2022May 29, 2022

Your whistle gives sound, but only that.
Do I not make you want to carve a reed flute and play a chord?

Summer nights aren’t easy.
I can manage a park bench by sitting in its center,
but swan boats can never be for one

Peace & Blessings,

Karima O.

About Karima

A Holistic Healer. I’m not yet too entirely sure of what that entails, but I know it’s my calling. I mostly write poetry out of observation, not inspiration; for I find the two to be different. I was likely a hip-hop producer in my previous life & it’s easy for me to get digital high off a good beat. People-watching is my favorite pastime. I’m also constantly seeking ways to blend all my different personas, but that never quite works & so I consequently have a very fluid sense of style & ever-changing pursuits.

To support, you can buy me a coffee ;)
